Ecospec has been awarded a long term contract to implement bank stabilisation works to the Raby Bay Canal for Redland Bay Council.
The stabilisation concept and method was developed and proposed by the Ecospec team in conjunction with Peter Yttrup and Associates from Melbourne.
The project involves stabilising the canal banks and then reinstating the revetment wall to the correct level.
The Ecospec solution utilises soil anchors designed by Ecospec and P.J Yttrup & Associates, and will be undertaken entirely from barges, minimising disruption to houses and homeowners on the canal.
We look forward to working with the Redland Bay Council and our project partners to create value, and an effective durable solution for the Community through stabilising the canal embankments and protecting the residents properties.
